Taoyuan Airport’s Five-Star VIP Lounge – First in the World to Be Free

Taoyuan Airport has launched the world’s first free VIP lounge, which has begun trial operations in Terminals 1 and 2, each offering over 100 seats for outbound travelers to rest and wait for their flights. The lounges provide multiple free amenities such as sofa rest areas, USB charging stations, Wi-Fi, a baby care room, VIP rooms, and shower facilities. Due to limited availability, VIP rooms and shower cubicles require advance registration at the counter. Shower towel and body wash sets are available for NT$500 per use, but you can use them for free if you bring your own. Terminal 2’s VIP lounge also offers paid food and beverage services.
