A photographer captured a series of photos of the Penghu Fireworks Show from Alishan, where, across the sea, the city lights of Penghu could be seen, and above the city, distinct layers of fireworks bloomed — a view across the strait that was quite astonishing.

The fan page “Strolling on Clouds at Alishan” recently shared a series of photos taken from Alishan capturing the Penghu Fireworks Show. The photographer noted that due to improved air quality during the rainy season, visibility was clearer than before, and many visitors were even able to see the Penghu fireworks with the naked eye. What’s even more incredible is that the Penghu fireworks were not only clearly visible from Alishan but also displayed distinct layers between high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks.
