Dadaocheng Fireworks: Get a Sneak Peek at the Musical Fireworks Animation

The highlight of Taipei Riverbank Music Festival, "Dadaocheng Lovers' Day," will be grandly held from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on August 6th at Yanping Riverside Park and around Dadaocheng Wharf. In addition to cultural and creative markets, nostalgic stalls, and food zones, the stage area will feature spectacular performances by heavyweight artists such as Chen f, Chairman Band, and Matthew Lien. The most anticipated 10-minute fireworks show will be launched at 8:00 PM, combining rock and EDM music for the first time.

This year’s fireworks and music break away from the previous focus on classical music, featuring movie soundtracks and electronic remixes of classic love songs such as "God of Love" and "The Moon Represents My Heart," culminating in Wu Bai & China Blue’s original song "You Are My Flower," paired with Taiwan’s first-ever "rose" fireworks display for a perfect finale.

Starting at 6:30 PM on the day of the event, phased traffic control will be enforced on roads around Dadaocheng Wharf. The controlled area extends south to Zhongxiao West Road, north to Liangzhou Street, east to Yanping North Road–Tacheng Street, and west to the Ring River South and North Roads (including the roads); vehicles will not be allowed to exit at the Huandao North Road ramp on Civic Freeway Eastbound; from 8:20 PM to 9:30 PM, a control point will be set up at the intersection of Chengde Road and Minsheng West Road, prohibiting westbound vehicle traffic.

Regarding the event venue, starting at 6:00 AM on August 6th, vehicles will only be allowed to exit through the entrances and exits of Water Gates No. 3 and No. 5, and bicycle crossing and riding within the event area will be prohibited during the same period; from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM, vehicle access will also be regulated.
