Summer vacation is here, and many young students are getting ready to travel abroad too. For several consecutive years, Jin Zhan Travel Agency has been promoting self-guided youth travel itineraries. Partnering with STA Travel, the world’s largest student travel agency under its International Youth Travel division, Jin Zhan has become the official Taiwan agent of STA and introduced a range of youth travel-related products. This allows Taiwanese youth to explore and connect with the world more confidently. The purpose of the STA Travel Student & Youth Travel website is to provide an accurate and practical travel service portal for students, while also aiming to serve an educational function. Students holding an International Student Identity Card (ISIC) can book online instantly and enjoy fares that are nearly 10–30% cheaper than regular market prices when purchasing student discount flights.

The STA Travel Student & Youth Travel website also allows users to directly apply online for an International Student Identity Card (ISIC), Youth Hostel Card (YHA), and International Youth Travel Card (IYTC). The site provides information on booking flights and accommodations, and through links, users can check train fares across Europe, the U.S., New Zealand, and Australia. It offers a comprehensive travel service. For example, if an average traveler books a round-trip flight to Los Angeles, USA, it might cost around NT$40,000–50,000, but using an International Student Identity Card during the off-season, the price could drop to as little as NT$20,000—saving almost NT$20,000. An International Student Identity Card costs NT$350, yet it can save you nearly NT$20,000 on airfare or rail transport. Since most airlines do not issue student tickets directly but delegate this to travel agencies, Jin Zhan Travel Agency is currently the official agent for the International Student Identity Card. Here, you can apply for the card as well as purchase student flights.
There is also a type of ticket even cheaper than student flights—the “STA Teachers & Youth Ticket.” Compared to regular student tickets, it can be up to NT$5,000 cheaper, and it's not just for students—teachers and young people under 26 are also eligible. This is the most respectful and preferential ticket ever offered to teachers and non-student youth.
