This beautiful library comes from the design team CTLU Architect & Associates (卢俊廷建筑师事务所). With an eight-meter-high entrance hall and wooden interior finishes, it continues the theme of greenery, achieving a visual harmony between the old trees and their surroundings.

The Longgang Branch is located next to Taoyuan City’s Tai Mao Park. In addition to preserving the original trees around the building, solar panels have been installed on the roof to generate electricity using sunlight and promote energy-saving. It has also been awarded a Gold-Level Green Building certification.

The interior of the library spans four floors above ground and two below, offering a total of 265 seats for users and covering 1,940 ping (approx. 6,400 m²). Architects designed the exterior with the concept that “every library has bookshelves, and every book among the vast collection holds a rich world within.” The side of the building features a floor-to-ceiling window adorned with 45 panels designed to resemble book spines. When opened, they appear like books being opened — a structure that combines symbolism with design to create a highly aesthetic architectural statement.
