The long-rumored expansion of Ippudo Ramen to Taiwan had remained just talk without any action, but this time, Ippudo President Yasuhiro Yoshitomi finally confirmed plans to open a store in Taipei, Taiwan.

The store opening is scheduled for autumn 2017. Prior to that, preparations will be made to establish an Ippudo noodle factory in Taiwan so that branches there can also serve the most authentic Ippudo Ramen.
