180-Degree Arc Theater – The DreamWorks Animation Exhibition Grand Opening

The globally beloved “DreamWorks Animation Exhibition,” now on its fifth stop of its world tour, has arrived in Taipei. This special exhibition will be grandly presented at the National Taiwan Science Education Center, and it is the only DreamWorks animation exhibition in all of Taiwan, featuring over 400 iconic classic works including original exhibits and concept sketches from films such as Shrek, Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon, and Kung Fu Panda.

To further reward Taiwanese fans, this exhibition has specially invited Li Limin, the Chief Taiwanese-American Visual Effects Supervisor at DreamWorks and winner of the animation industry’s highest honor — the Annie Award — to return to Taiwan in support. In addition to inviting all animation fans across Taiwan to join in the celebration, Li also shared insights into his creative journey in animation.

The “DreamWorks Animation Exhibition” is divided into three major zones exploring the three core elements of animated films: “Characters,” “Stories,” and “Worlds.” It showcases the tightly interconnected creative process that takes an initial spark of an idea to a complete animated movie.
