November 11th, Singles' Day, is approaching, and hotel expert Hotels.com has published a ranking of travel searches among singles, along with multiple discounts, allowing travelers to treat themselves to a trip.

The survey found that popular solo travel destinations for Taiwanese travelers—both domestically and internationally—are mainly urban areas with convenient transportation. Domestically, Taipei and Taichung lead the list, while Tokyo and Osaka are the top choices abroad, with Hong Kong ranking fifth. In addition, the ancient city of Tainan known for its cultural creativity and food scene, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam with its French colonial charm, and Busan in South Korea rich in natural landscapes have also become recent hot spots for solo travelers.
