Air pollution has been severe recently, especially in central and southern Taiwan. According to the Environmental Protection Administration's Air Quality Monitoring Network, on November 15, the PSI levels across Taiwan and its outlying islands ranged from good to moderate, with suspended particulates being the primary pollutant. Central and southern regions experienced poor dispersion conditions, resulting in PM2.5 levels ranging from moderate to high. Other areas saw PM2.5 levels from low to moderate. On November 16 and 17, PSI levels across Taiwan remained in the good to moderate range, with suspended particulates as the main pollutant. Central and southern areas again faced poor dispersion, leading to PM2.5 levels that were moderate to high, while other regions saw levels from low to moderate. When going out, consider wearing a mask or avoiding outdoor activities to reduce exposure to air pollution.
