The light displays at Kaohsiung’s Dream Mall, paired with the Ferris wheel, create an especially romantic scene and have become a popular photo spot for many visitors. This year’s highlight is a purple Christmas tree symbolizing blessings. Themed “Romantic Happiness Lights Up PurpleWish,” the lighting ceremony began at 6:00 PM on November 17. Host Dennis introduced the event, inviting guests to join the lighting moment. Singer Power Station member Chen Shih-an performed at 6:30 PM, and the lights were officially turned on at 7:00 PM. A snow-like romantic scene was also created on-site, giving visitors an early taste of winter holiday cheer. Live music performances continued throughout the night, offering a unique and heartwarming experience.

The event site features numerous Parisian-style settings, including a love lock bridge, a proposal hall, an OPEN wishing pool, and a fantasy block play area—fun and whimsical scenes that delight all ages. Visitors can also take the open-top double-decker bus in Kaohsiung to reach Dream Mall and enjoy a scenic ride around the city.
