In celebration of the annual Christmas season, the Pintung Wanjin Christmas Festival not only continues the highly anticipated church music light show but also kicks off in December with a series of exciting programs to build up the festive atmosphere, all leading up to the grand finale on Christmas Eve, December 24, as it joins people across Taiwan in celebrating this heartwarming holiday.

This year’s Pintung Wanjin Christmas Festival adopts the theme “A Gentle Glow,” symbolizing how every individual is a unique star. By coming together to light up the night, the festival aims to spread and sustain more light, inspiring more people and fully embodying the spirit of love and power conveyed by Wanjin Church.

The Christmas festival activities begin in early December with several warm-up events, the most notable being the Christmas SHOW Creative Christmas Tree Competition. The official opening light ceremony for the festival is set for December 15 at Wanjin Church, followed by a large-scale grassland picnic, the Wanjin Christmas Feast, and the Christmas Heatwave Dance Competition during the holiday weekend of December 17–18. On Christmas Eve itself, the day kicks off with a Christmas market, while the highlight of the night is the Wanjin Christmas Music Light Show and Blessing Gala. As one of Southern Taiwan’s most popular Christmas events every year, the Wanjin Christmas Festival is truly a top choice for those looking to soak in the joyful atmosphere and sacred ambiance of the church.
