Changhua has another new photo spot—Up and coming! The carousel is a cherished childhood memory. With the trend of filming idol dramas, the carousels from our memories have grown into romantic dating spots. Recently, the Maxing Community in Changhua built an herb-themed botanical garden. A giant, colorful carousel installation is expected to become the next popular photo hotspot.

In addition to cultivating various herbal plants and providing an educational and entertaining experience for visitors, the most eye-catching feature of the herb botanical garden is this large carousel. The vibrant carousel art installation looks magical in the sunlight. Although it doesn’t rotate, visitors can sit on the little horses and strike all kinds of fun poses for great photos.

Currently, the herb botanical garden is still under construction and is expected to officially open to the public before next summer. Aside from taking photos with the romantic carousel, there are other nearby attractions in the Maxing Community worth checking out. For example, Xiushui Longten Park and Changhua’s largest traditional residence, the Maxing Chen Family Ancestral House “Yiyuan Ancient House,” are both close by. Take advantage of the weekend sunshine and plan a short trip to Changhua.
