Mizumoto Park is unbelievably vast — who would have thought such a park exists within Tokyo? It is home to 1,900 metasequoia trees, and in autumn, their needles begin to turn red. Unlike typical broad-leaved maple foliage, here you’ll find a vast expanse of red needle-leaved trees. Depending on the time of day and angle of sunlight, the entire forest of metasequoias reflects different hues before your eyes. Paired with clear lakeside views, it’s a perfect destination for a visit.
