First Look: Japan’s Tallest Building in Saga Hosts Its First 3D Projection Mapping Show on July 18

Saga Prefecture in Kyushu is holding its first-ever “3D projection mapping show” this year in front of the prefectural government building, the tallest structure in the region. From July 18 to March 2017, visitors can enjoy the stunning light displays from the 13-story observation deck, which projects a unique image of Saga.

The Saga Prefectural Government Building is the tallest in the prefecture, and its 13th-floor observation deck offers a panoramic view of the city. During cherry blossom season, rows of blooming sakura trees create a magical scene. This year from July 18 until March next year, the building will host a free nighttime 3D projection mapping show.

Additionally, the popular restaurant Shino is also located on the 13th-floor observation deck. In addition to offering breathtaking night views, Shino is known for its delicious dishes, including Cremia ice cream made with Hokkaido fresh milk, A5 Saga beef burgers, and Sicilian rice—all highly recommended menu items.
