Taiwan has all kinds of unique homestays, ranging from exotic villas to Japanese-style traditional homes. This time, Scenic Spots Home wants to introduce a particularly popular homestay located in the outskirts of Hualien — the Pulonggong Homestay, which features a distinctive off-the-ground design. The concept was inspired by the idea of sleeping in a castle in the sky, earning it the nickname “Castle in the Sky.” Even though it’s located in a more remote area of Hualien, it still attracts large numbers of tourists who come to pay homage and take photos.
