As Christmas approaches, cities across Taiwan are hosting a variety of festive celebrations, and Taipei’s Xinyi District is the most vibrant of them all. Following the Strasbourg Christmas Market at Taipei 101, another highlight nearby — located beside Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A9 and formerly the site of the Chinatrust Building — COMMUNE A7 has kicked off the holiday season by launching Taiwan’s first container restaurant market just before Christmas. Opened for a soft launch on December 16, the venue brings together international cuisines including American, European, and Hong Kong-style fare, with around 20 popular F&B brands taking part. The area also features a striking billboard of Osaka’s “Mr. Glico,” making Xinyi District a true foodie hotspot.
