In April 2016, 7-Eleven in Hong Kong had launched a points promotion in partnership with the cookware and tableware brand Le Creuset, which captured the interest of locals and many tourists to Hong Kong, generating a popular topic. At the end of 2016, 7-Eleven in Taiwan also introduced a year-end points campaign. In addition to drawing attention from Taiwanese consumers, tourists visiting Taiwan for year-end holidays could also join the points collection trend.

The way the campaign works is that by collecting at least five points, customers can purchase add-on items. These include a double-layer microwave bento box (additional 99 NTD), a stylish tableware set (additional 79 NTD), a fashionable two-tone placemat (additional 99 NTD), and a stylish insulated basket (additional 399 NTD). The points-redemption products offered in Taiwan are more varied than those in Hong Kong. Those interested in this points campaign, especially those visiting Taiwan for the New Year, shouldn’t miss out on the fun of collecting points. The campaign was launched on December 31, 2016.
