The 238-second Taipei 101 New Year’s Eve fireworks received widespread acclaim from netizens. This year’s 20,000-firework display, combined with a light show, achieved an outstanding visual effect. The dynamic mix of colors such as champagne gold, red, and vivid green, the Taiwan lettering on the building’s façade, and the timing and pattern of the fireworks all brought pleasant surprises to the viewers.

In addition, the highlight of this year’s New Year’s Eve fireworks—the light show—will continue until January 12. Every evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, nine different light show modes will be presented every half hour, allowing all spectators to soak in the joyful atmosphere of the 2017 New Year.
