The plum blossoms in Xinyi Township have always been the top choice for plum blossom viewing in Taiwan, and the quality of the plums produced there is also outstanding. With over 800 hectares of plum trees planted across a wide area, the township attracts many flower enthusiasts every year.

Mid-to-late January is the peak blooming period, and the flowering season continues through the Lunar New Year. When visiting Xinyi Township, known as the “Hometown of Plum Blossoms,” don’t miss the three major plum blossom viewing areas: Fengguidou, Wusong, and Niuchongkeng. Zhongliao Township also has beautiful plum blossoms blooming in farmers’ orchards, making it a new spot for flower viewing.
