Since its debut in Japan over 40 years ago, Monchhichi’s cute designs have won a massive global following. While Monchhichi has previously opened limited-time restaurants in Japan, this is the first sago pudding-themed café in Asia. Originating in Portugal, sago pudding is a dessert made by layering cream, cookie crumbs, and other ingredients, then freezing them. After being introduced to Macau, it became a beloved local sweet. This themed café perfectly blends Macau’s traditional Portuguese desserts with the popularity of Japan’s iconic Monchhichi, offering fans a delightful and adorable culinary experience.

The MONCHHICHI SERRADURA Sago Pudding Themed Café offers a variety of desserts, coffees, and flavored drinks, all adorned with MONCHHICHI cartoon faces. When purchasing sago pudding, customers receive a complimentary cookie and a small wooden mallet to personally crush the cookie and sprinkle the crumbs on top—recreating the final step of making sago pudding. Additionally, visitors can shop for Monchhichi plush toys in various shapes and styles, perfect as gifts or souvenirs. The café’s upper floor also features a charming photo zone where fans can snap photos with their favorite character.
