The Tai Feng fire is initially estimated to have caused losses of 500 million NTD. A press conference was held at 5 PM on the 18th to address the incident, though many details and compensation issues remain unresolved. Many scholars and citizens have spontaneously called for caution, noting that the smoke from the fire contains dioxins. Residents in the north are advised to wear masks when going out, avoid getting caught in the rain, and take extra care when heading outside amidst the Thursday rainfall.
