The much-awaited Taoyuan Airport MRT will open for a one-month free trial ride on February 2nd, right after the Lunar New Year and just before the Lantern Festival, and will officially begin operations on March 2nd. On February 16th, a luggage pre-hanging service will be launched at Taipei Main Station, available for flights departing after 11:00 AM. Many people are looking forward to being able to take the MRT from Taipei to Taoyuan Airport without driving or taking a bus. With the opening of the airport MRT, we’ve rounded up six must-visit attractions. Travel easily along the convenient airport MRT to explore destinations and commercial areas that were previously harder to reach, and take a spring outing during the consecutive holidays.

1. A9Linkou Station – Mitsui OutletOUTLET

2. A11Kengkou Station - Luchu Kengkou Mural Village

3. A15Dayuan Station - Zhubei Fishing Port

4. A19 Taoyuan Sports Park Station - Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium
