Cherry, plum, and peach blossoms vie in beauty—Pingshuitou’s cherry blossom season is a must-see during Spring Festival

Nantou offers diverse and rich travel experiences, with countless natural wonders, making it one of the best choices for a holiday trip. In addition to famous cherry blossom spots like the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village and Sun Moon Lake, the cherry blossom season at the Pingshuitou Yushan Sightseeing Tea Plantation in Xinyi Township better showcases the beauty of the local nature. The Pingshuitou Cherry Blossom Season kicked off on the 24th with the theme "A Feast of Flowers and Tea." Visitors here can not only admire beautiful cherry, plum, and peach blossoms but also enjoy the fragrance of the tea plantation.

During the cherry blossom season, on January 30, 31, February 11, and 12 (four days in total), Xinyi Township Office has launched musical and floral symphonies—street performer events and other cultural activities. The flower season runs from now until February 28. In addition, to avoid traffic congestion, the Xinyi Police Station will implement traffic controls from the Pingshuitou Yushan Sightseeing Tea Plantation archway to Shengxian Temple section, from January 28 to February 28. Temporary parking and the passage of Class A and B large buses will be prohibited, with control hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
