As one of Japan’s Three Great Gardens, Kenrokuen captivates visitors with its strong traditional Japanese ambiance and garden views, delivering an authentic cultural experience. Likewise, the Lüwu Sightseeing Hotel in Wujie Township, Yilan County, features a stroll-style Japanese garden that creates the illusion of stepping into a historic Kyoto landmark with its tranquil streams, classic Japanese architecture, and arched bridge designs—bringing an authentic Japanese vibe without leaving Taiwan.

The Lüwu Sightseeing Hotel is Taiwan’s first and only five-star international tourist hotel integrating a Japanese garden, hotel, and villa. It specially invited Japanese craftsmen to Taiwan to construct the property using traditional Japanese building techniques, taking over a year to complete. In addition to the Japanese garden landscape, it also features themed spaces such as an art gallery, theme theater, light meal restaurant, cherry blossom tea house, and visitor center, with the must-photograph attraction being the underwater Moses Bridge walkway.

The park not only offers unique Japanese cultural exhibitions and themed performances, but also provides seasonal garden enjoyment and dining experiences, combining art, cultural creativity, tourism, and education. The hotel area includes 95 hotel rooms and 10 villa rooms, with on-site Chinese, Western, and Japanese restaurants, a large banquet hall, a 2F open-air coffee area, a 6F rooftop lounge, gender-separated hot spring baths, herbal spa, fitness and yoga rooms, as well as an outdoor tea house, swimming pool, and play area.
