Asian low-cost carrier AirAsia partnered with South Korea's KBS on the Korean drama "Road to the Airport," which officially premiered in Taiwan last September. The series, starring Lee Sang-yoon and Kim Ha-neul, features characters all working in the aviation industry and is set against an AirAsia backdrop. All aviation-related scenes were filmed in Malaysia, helping to promote tourism in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia, with the drama sponsored by AirAsia.
