Largest desert park surprises with sea of flowers – Spring blooms in full glory

Amid a barren desert park, an astonishing sea of flowers has emerged. Located in California, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is the largest state park in California and the second-largest in the contiguous United States, after New York's Adirondack Park. The park spans an enormous area of 600,000 acres—almost one-fifth the size of San Diego. Although it is a desert region with generally harsh climatic conditions, during the transition from winter to spring, certain areas burst into vibrant wildflower blooms, creating uniquely spectacular scenery.
