In response to local anticipation, Uni-President Starbucks opened the “Penghu Sheraton Branch” with great fanfare on March 18, marking its 410th store worldwide. The “Penghu Sheraton Branch” is located on the first floor of the five-star “Four Points by Sheraton Penghu Resort” on Xindian Road. The store features a large artistic wall as its highlight, designed around the storyline of “Moby Dick,” presenting a nautical-themed world map of coffee. Created through hand-painted techniques and incorporating local materials—specifically “fishing nets”—the artwork emphasizes the coffee-growing regions, along with elements from the story such as coffee cherries, mermaids, wind gods, coffee beans, compasses, measuring instruments, sea monsters, coffee flowers, anchors, sailing ships, and the great white whale... Visitors are greeted with thoughtful design details upon entering the store.

Upon entering the store, the coffee bar is positioned at the center of the space, surrounded by seating. The color scheme primarily features teak and mist black, complemented by various wooden slats, specially textured paint, and a gradient print of mermaid scale patterns, all emphasizing a natural, handmade tactile effect.
