Taiwan’s first high heel-shaped chapel built with glass curtains, a popular attraction that has garnered attention from foreign media and received a Guinness World Record certification, held a new illumination ceremony at 6 PM on March 23. Many netizens witnessed the test lighting and showered it with praise. To boost nighttime tourism in Budai, the Yunlin National Scenic Area Administration created the “Cinderella Garden Light Show,” hiring a renowned domestic environmental theater lighting designer. Combining the chapel’s architectural lighting with an ambient light environment to craft Baroque-style light sculptures and hundreds of computer-controlled light effects, along with a specially composed theme music titled “Cinderella Garden,” the event conjures a dreamy atmosphere. The illumination event will be open to the public free of charge for 45 consecutive days starting March 23.
