EVA Air’s painted aircraft have been soaring since 2005, and this year they’re back with a delightful surprise: four brand-new themed painted planes, including the “Outing Plane,” “Dream Plane,” “Party Plane,” and “Friendship Plane.” Continuing the spirit of the HELLO KITTY painted aircraft, the airline has designed a range of in-flight service items that passengers simply can’t get enough of, creating a joyful and adorable flying atmosphere. To celebrate the launch of these new themed painted aircraft, EVA Air hosted the grand “Welcome Aboard, Let’s Fly Together Happily” EVA Air Painted Aircraft Carnival in Xinyi District from April 14 to 16.

EVA Air flight attendants made a dazzling entrance alongside Sanrio’s most popular stars, launching a dreamy themed parade and interacting up close with both kids and adults on-site.
EVA Air thoughtfully brought a first-class cabin experience to the streets of Xinyi, complemented by super-cute painted aircraft service items and warm explanations from professionals, allowing the public to experience the charm of the painted aircraft even on the ground. The event site also featured giant themed balloons as tall as five meters, along with four new painted aircraft experience zones and a premium EVA Air cabin experience zone. On April 15, the event proudly welcomed Sanrio’s super-popular stars HELLO KITTY, DANIEL, the Cool Penguin, KIKI LALA, and My Melody, who joined in the fun with a dazzling themed parade and spectacular performances.
