Aside from the white calla lily season at Yangmingshan’s Zhuzihhu and the colorful calla lily season in Taoyuan, you can also enjoy the vibrant beauty of a yellow calla lily field at what is known as “Taichung’s Zhuzihhu” – Waipu. Near Shuitou 1st and 2nd Roads at No. 38 Jiahou Road in Waipu, there is a roughly 600-ping yellow calla lily field. This local flower farmer in Taichung has successfully cultivated yellow calla lilies, attracting many visitors daily during the blooming season to take photos, and the site is open to the public for free.

The common white calla lilies seen at Zhuzihhu are wetland-type calla lilies, while those in Waipu are land-grown, colorful yellow ones. Though not as grand as Yangmingshan’s Zhuzihhu, the Waipu calla lily fields bloom just as vibrantly, shining brilliantly under the sunlight.
