April and May are the peak seasons when the tung blossoms bloom and their petals flutter about. Strolling along paths covered in tung blossoms is a healing and romantic flower-viewing activity. Nantou’s Puli’s Niuer Art Resort Village is one of the earliest regions in Taiwan to see the flowers bloom. Currently, the tung blossoms have begun to quietly bloom, and the dreamy sight of a full bloom of “May snow” can already be anticipated. The Niuer Art Resort Village covers an area of approximately 20,000 pyeong (about 65,800 square meters), with a view overlooking the Puli city area. It includes 3,000 pyeong (about 9,870 square meters) of lawn where children can play freely. In addition to the tung blossom season every April and May, the butterfly-watching season from June to October serves as the most vivid natural classroom.
