Every year around April and May in spring and summer, fireflies appear in large numbers and phoenix trees begin to bloom successively, making many ecologically rich camping areas across Taiwan bustling with activity. Located in Miaoli, the Flying Fireflies Farm is situated amidst lush green mountains on three sides, with a babbling creek running through a secluded valley, offering a tranquil environment. It boasts abundant flora and fauna resources. The camping and firefly-viewing season runs from mid-March to November each year. Visitors can explore ancient trails, spot monkeys, listen to birds, admire fireflies, catch shrimp in wild streams, as well as enjoy tea chats, water play, and sunset views. In spring and autumn, besides fireflies dancing by the mountain streams and lighting up the entire valley, seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms and phoenix trees also bloom vibrantly, creating a relaxing atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for events, gatherings with friends, and family fun.
