An annual flower viewing spectacle around August to September, also known as the "one-day flower" season of daylilies. The golden brilliance blankets the foothills and hills, with dense seas of flowers that captivate visitors. In addition to the alpine daylilies during summer, the lowland daylilies have quietly begun blooming in spring, around May. Along the 193 County Highway — considered the most beautiful highway in Hualien — located approximately between kilometers 105.5 and 106.5, vast fields of blooming daylilies can already be admired. These golden carpets stretch across open farmland, offering not only breathtaking floral vistas but also sweeping mountain views. The scenery is magnificent and expansive, brimming with pastoral beauty.
