Across Taiwan, various tunnel attractions have recently become popular pilgrimage sites. The beautiful depth created by forests and flower fields has drawn many tourists and photographers, while also helping to uncover many previously overlooked hidden scenic spots. On San] Road in Waipu, Taichung, aside from vast green fields, there’s a short stretch of road shaded by towering trees. Sunlight filters through the straight, tall trunks and upward-reaching emerald foliage, transforming this less-than-100-meter path into a magical forest tunnel. The woods also feature benches provided by local farmers, offering shade and a refreshing soak in phytoncides—just remember to keep the area clean and trash-free.
