As a weather front from southern China nears, the weather will become unstable. The front is expected to arrive and affect the region on the 15th and 16th, gradually moving southward. Scattered showers or thunderstorms are forecasted nationwide, with a chance of localized heavy rain. During this period, the weather across Taiwan will be affected in succession, with scattered showers or thunderstorms in various areas. Some regions may experience relatively heavy rainfall, along with the possibility of severe thunderstorms and strong winds. Please stay especially vigilant.

From the 17th to the 21st, the front will move south and linger over the Bashi Channel. On the 17th, there will still be brief showers or thunderstorms across the country. On the 18th and 19th, the southern and eastern parts of the country will see brief showers, while other regions may also experience localized brief thunderstorms in the afternoon. On the 20th and 21st, there will be brief showers nationwide. This week has a high probability of rainfall. Although most rain will be brief, it’s still advisable to carry rain gear when going out.
