Recently, a new attraction has emerged in North District, Taichung — Yide Western-Style House, a special cultural and artistic space created by integrating a municipal historic site that was once the former residence of Lin Maoyang with dining tea houses, cafés, independent bookstores, wedding cakes, desserts, and handmade goods. After undergoing renovation and redesign, it now consists of Yide Cultural Tea House, Yide Western-Style Café, Xiyuan V, Yiwei Bakery, as well as the Brownie Dessert 1925 Café, and opened for trial operations in May. The area is currently free to visit and is perfect for travelers who enjoy art, culture, and historical charm.
