Their peak blooming season is from May to August, and they are also often used to make dried flowers. Hsinchu Guanxi – Taiwan Aviary and Botanical Garden
Former Taipei County Magistrate Chou Hsi-wei personally established Taiwan’s first “Aviary and Botanical Garden,” a flatland temperate garden in Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County. It not only cultivates commonly seen outdoor flowering plants native to Taiwan but also introduces unique Japanese flower varieties renowned worldwide. The garden is home to tens of thousands of hydrangeas. On May 22, this year’s hydrangea season was unveiled, along with the official announcement that the Taiwan Aviary and Botanical Garden will open on May 26.
