Uni-President Starbucks continues to focus on meeting the needs of loyal customers. Among these efforts, the increasingly popular lane-style stores (Drive-Thru), which have gained wide acclaim among Taiwanese consumers in recent years, expanded their services beyond Yunlin, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung last year. This year, the chain has successively opened new Drive-Thru locations including the Guishan Huilong Store, Chiayi Minxiong Store, Zhunan Store, and Liming Fukuo Store. In response to the anticipation of Hsinchu residents, the “Zhubei Ziqiang Store” grandly opened in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, on May 28 during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. This marks not only the 13th Drive-Thru store in Taiwan but also the first-ever Drive-Thru location in Hsinchu — a development of special significance.

The Starbucks Zhubei Ziqiang Store is located at a bustling transportation hub in Zhubei, occupying the corner space on the first and second floors of a six-story standalone building. The iconic Starbucks siren logo is displayed at a height of 30 meters on the sixth floor of the building — the highest horizontally positioned logo among all Starbucks outlets in Taiwan, making it especially eye-catching. The exterior features an artistic high-quality wooden grain interlaced design. Inside the store, customers are greeted by an aesthetically pleasing ㄣ-shaped counter. With a total of 112 seats, the store is well-equipped to serve the large commuter population as well as local residents from the nearby urban redevelopment area.
Since Uni-President Starbucks launched its first lane-style store in 2013, drive-thru customers now account for 40% of total sales at such locations.
