Universal Studios Japan’s much-talked-about Minion Park has been a hit with tourists since its April opening, and the annual summer festival is just around the corner. Universal Studios Japan has announced that from June 30 (Friday) to September 3, it will host the largest number of summer events in the park’s history. The water party from last year will be expanded into a parade format, with the amount of water increased by 300% compared to the previous year, offering visitors an even more spectacular and refreshing experience in terms of scale and variety.
This summer’s Minions Water Surprise Parade will use 300% more water than last year, expanding the areas where you can get completely soaked. Along the parade route, there will be massive water cannons shooting water high into the air and devices showering down torrents of water, creating an impact akin to a waterfall — guaranteed to be an exhilarating experience.
The new SUMMER0?PLASH0?ARKET debuts, bringing together summer food, merchandise, and games. The bustling market features a variety of cool attractions unique to the season. Additionally, cute bucket-shaped Minions shaved ice containers and summer-themed Bob popcorn buckets will also make their appearance.
