The world's thinnest tower according to the Guinness World Records, resembling a sci-fi scene from another world

In 2016, a new attraction opened in Brighton, UK — the British Airways i360 observation tower. The most distinctive feature of this structure is that it holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s thinnest tower, standing at 162 meters tall with a maximum width of just 3.9 meters, and an astonishing height-to-width ratio of 41:1. This is the British Airways i360 observation tower, another unique architectural creation by Marks Barfield Architects following the London Eye in 1999.

The 18-meter-diameter observation pod ascends to a height of 138 meters over a period of 20 to 30 minutes, carrying up to 200 passengers and offering 360-degree panoramic views of the southern coast of England — making it the tallest moving observation tower in the world.
