The annual "Taipei Riverside Music Festival" is back again, and this highly acclaimed event has added even more features this year. From the 17th to August 12th (postponed in case of rain), there will be activities every Saturday afternoon. In addition to enjoying music, exploring markets, and joining themed events at the riverside park, this year also features a stamp-collecting lucky draw. As for the most anticipated "Dadaocheng Lovers' Day" event each year, it will still grandly take place on the Saturday before Qixi (August 26th). This year, it specially invites A-mei Chang (Jin Zhijuan) and Matzka to deliver an energetic performance. There will also be a lovers-themed fireworks show, accompanied by a newly arranged soundtrack.

This year's "Taipei Riverside Music Festival" takes "Youthful Dance Tunes" as its theme, carefully curating cross-generational golden hits from the 1930s to the millennium. From street singers and the folk song era to tribal hits, visitors are invited to reminisce about their youth along the Taipei riverside. This year also uniquely selects the classic song familiar to those born in the 1960s and 70s, "The Fool on the Riverbank," as the event's theme song. The original singer, Jin Zhijuan (A-mei Chang), will perform the original version live at the "Dadaocheng Lovers' Day" on August 26th.

Taipei is an inclusive and culturally diverse friendly city, and music can transcend borders to touch hearts. July 1st Event Highlights: This year’s Golden Melody Award winner for Best Music Video, Zhang San Li Si, will make their first public performance since winning the award this Saturday. Notably, the official promotional video for the "Taipei Riverside Music Festival" was also produced by Zhang San Li Si, showcasing their abundant talent. And A-mei Chang (Jin Zhijuan), who has been the best interpreter of rock since her debut, will sing the event theme song "The Fool on the Riverbank" and other popular hits.
July 8th Event Highlights: A Tribal Good Original Sound theme concert is launched, held at Guandu Zhonggang River Pier, featuring performers including Kasilaw Band and ZamaKe. The Taipei Riverside Kids' Festival also continues at Dajia Riverside Park.
July 15th Event Highlights:The venue moves to Dadaocheng Pier. Performers include legendary artist Li Binghui, Golden Melody Award winner Xiao Fu De, and the "Crazy God Six Little Fortunes" Wang Junjie, taking everyone back to the retro naniwai and the dancing days of the city that never sleeps. Consider digging out your shiniest clothes from the closet and head to Dadaocheng Pier to sway with the music.
