UV levels across Taiwan are excessive. It’s best to avoid outdoor activities under strong sunlight. If you must be outside, take proper sun protection measures. In Kaohsiung, UV levels have reached the danger zone (skin can burn in just 15 minutes of exposure), so summer sun safety is especially important.
