The annual summer highlight of Qingjing Farm, the “2017 Qingjing Windmill Festival,” kicked off passionately on July 1st. This year’s event is themed around a rainbow, featuring a stunning 500-meter rainbow-themed trail in the Guanshan Pasture, offering visitors a colorful and relaxing Qingjing experience. During the festival, there will also be a Rainbow Grassland Music Concert and dance performances, delivering a unique musical feast. Additionally, there's a DIY windmill painting activity for 100 participants, guided by professionals (registration required).

This year’s windmill festival design concept combines three main elements: high mountains, clear waters, and blue skies.Five thousand sky-blue windmills create a stunning visual effect.Three rows of sky-blue windmills form a windmill wave, a highly photogenic highlight that visitors must capture.

A newly added water curtain laser show during the summer break, combined with windmills and light-sound effects, allows visitors to enjoy a different kind of spectacle in the evening. In addition to the colorful windmills, don’t miss the famous Sheep Shearing Show at Qingjing’s Green Green Grassland, which takes place at 9:30 am and 2:30 pm on weekends (from July 10th to August 31st, shows are held Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays only, and canceled in case of rain). Horse riding shows, thrilling and exciting, take place daily at 10:45 am and 3:45 pm at Qingjing Guanshan Pasture.
