The mobile manga platform LINE WEBTOON celebrates its third anniversary in Taiwan, having amassed over 1.7 billion views. It has also launched the “Manga New Talent Competition” to discover new talent and, through cross-platform collaborations with LINE and partnerships across industries, is opening up more possibilities for all types of creative work. The platform has nurtured nearly 70 Taiwanese writers and helped 14 Taiwanese works reach overseas audiences, achieving impressive global view counts for Taiwanese creations. Additionally, it has announced the launch of Taiwan’s first-ever “Manga Interactive Truck – 3rd Anniversary Summer Tour Party”! The truck will bring popular creators together with fans across Taiwan for a fun meet-and-greet.

The “Manga Interactive Truck – 3rd Anniversary Summer Tour Party” officially kicked off at the press conference and will tour around Taiwan. It not only brings manga from the screen to life before readers’ eyes but also gives LINE WEBTOON creators the opportunity to meet fans and share their thoughts on creating comics. LINE WEBTOON has also gathered a host of popular manga characters via the interactive truck, encouraging fans to enjoy three-minute manga stories anytime, anywhere.

The LINE WEBTOON Manga Interactive Truck will visit popular commercial areas in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung over eight consecutive weekend holidays. It will host fan meet-and-greets with top creators such as Park Tae-joon of the hit series “True Beauty,” highly popular creator Wei-Tseng of “A Bit Unfortunate Theater,” A-Man of “Tales of One Hundred Demons: One Night, One Story,” Ara of “Catbug Kabo,” Bbqiuqiu, and I Am Mark. The goal is to let even more Taiwanese readers experience the unique charm of LINE WEBTOON’s high-quality works.
