Recently, a well-known Japanese travel agency invited over 2,000 netizens to vote for the Taiwanese attractions or foods they most want to visit. Among them, famous sites such as Taipei 101 and Din Tai Fung were not on the list. Instead, artsy spots like painted villages, Sishisanan Village, and the retro cultural hotel 1969 Blue Sky Hotel have become new favorites among Japanese netizens. As for food, the top choices include the dreamy juice milkshake shop Meat Up, Tainan’s Taicheng Fruit Shop, and Huajiang.
