Sunflower blossoms shine as brightly as the sun, symbolizing a cheerful and joyful heart. At the Happy Farm in Huiwan Bay, Ji’an Township, Hualien, a sea of over 10,000 sunflowers covering 4 hectares has been created within the 45-hectare park, attracting numerous visitors daily to take photos and enjoy the flowers. Huiwan Bay previously offered free sunflower picking in February, which received great praise. Now, six months later, it has announced that it will reopen for free picking on July 22, inviting visitors to admire and harvest the flowers, taking home 30,000 sunflowers for free.

30,000 sunflowers stand vibrant, full of happiness and hope. In addition to the classic yellow sunflowers, this time there are also red, orange, and yellow-green varieties. After the first picking event in February, many visitors used the sunflowers they took home as decorations to adorn restaurants and houses, adding warm summer hues. Many netizens also took photos with the flowers by the coast, where the beautiful scenery paired with the bright blooms made for a delightful and charming experience.
