"Healing-themed Rilakkuma," beloved by numerous fans in Taiwan, opened the world’s first Japanese-themed restaurant, Rilakkuma Tea House, on July 21. The Rilakkuma Tea House fully embodies a strong traditional Japanese style and breaks away from the typical Western menu of themed restaurants by focusing on traditional Japanese dishes such as "three-color hanami dango, ochazuke, and matcha." Among them, the rice bowl is shaped like Rilakkuma’s head—so adorable that fans can hardly bear to eat it.

The main store of Rilakkuma Tea House is located in Taipei’s Zhongshan District, an area bustling with creative-style shops. It uses a variety of natural building materials to carefully express traditional Japanese spatial elements—"earth," "wood," "bamboo," and "stone." Custom-designed tea house wallpaper and bear-head window patterns blend seamlessly into the Japanese garden ambiance. The seating area offers three different styles for customers to choose from: besides regular two-seater and four-seater tables, there are also single seats and two distinct themed tatami private rooms.

Rilakkuma Tea House has developed many original dishes, each infused with creative touches of the Rilakkuma character. The tableware is also meticulously designed—various Rilakkuma-shaped utensils are all handcrafted based on original designs, ensuring no distortions or tilting. This allows every Rilakkuma fan to enjoy an authentic taste of Japan while experiencing both visual and culinary delight.
