Universal Studios Japan has in recent years adopted an “over-the-top” strategy, continuously upgrading performances, roller coasters, and other attractions to win over visitors. Each year in autumn, the park holds its Halloween event series. This year’s lineup was recently revealed, featuring not only the usual 20+ zombies roaming the streets but also the longest-ever horror ride in the park’s history. Visitors will be trapped in complete darkness for up to 35 minutes,set in a terrifying laboratory imprisonment theme and now experienced on foot,whichtakes the thrill and intensity to a whole new level.

This year’s “Halloween Horror Nights” at Universal Studios Japan kicks off on September 8 and runs through November 5. In addition to a grand costume parade party that lasts from day to night, three brand-new ultra-spooky attractions have also made their debut.

The zombie hordes that appear on the park’s main street every evening this year are the most diverse ever, and they will even engage in battles and confrontations with visitors inside the newly introduced ride “Death Maze,” offering tourists an unforgettable Halloween experience.
