The homestay “Shitiping Bay 118,” located in Fengbin, Hualien, stands amid the ever-changing landscape of the Port Tribe. Nestled between rolling mountains and the sea, it exudes a serene sense of seclusion.

The homestay was co-created by the artist-owner and emerging architect Chen Guanhua. Its design concept originates from the idea of “simple living,” conveying the philosophy that less is more and emptiness is fullness. By abandoning excessive decoration and packaging, it truly returns to the essence and original form of a house, insisting on naturally integrating with the surrounding landscape and leaving the spotlight entirely to the flow of nature.
