If you want to indulge in sweet and savory treats with your besties in Taipei’s East District, Pingzi wants to share a high-value all-you-can-eat cake and savory restaurant near Taipei Metro Zhongxiao Fuxing Station — Berry Berry Cobom Strawberry Workshop. The meal is abundant, the prices are friendly, and aside from main dishes, there's also a buffet bar. If you book more than a day in advance for afternoon tea or dinner during weekdays, you’ll instantly get a 10% discount. How can friends who love all-you-can-eat savory dishes and desserts miss out on such an East District gem?

Berry Berry Cobom Strawberry Workshop is near Taipei Metro Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, just across the alley from NET in the East District, opposite Qingguang Red Bean Cake. The shop is quite easy to find.

With a small sign that lights up at night, bearing the words “Berry Berry Cobom Strawberry Workshop” in white reverse text on a pink background, it’s the first all-you-can-eat cake shop to open in the East District.

The storefront features a simple white exterior wall, illuminated by yellow lighting that brightens the whole place.

There’s a sign at the entrance that says dinner is available as an all-you-can-eat option for NT$369 + 10% service charge — a very great deal for an all-you-can-eat meal. For afternoon tea, it’s NT$289 + 10%, which is also quite a bargain.

As soon as you step inside, you can feel the charm of Berry Berry Cobom Strawberry Workshop. Though the space is small, the staff wear maid outfits, and the entire place has a pink theme — the kind of color scheme many girls dream of and adore.

Berry Berry Cobom Strawberry Workshop has a princess-style pink aesthetic and is always bustling with guests, making it a favorite spot for many.

Even the seating is designed to create a fairytale-like, princess atmosphere.

There’s also a seating area with black sofas for group dining.

Flipping through the menu, which has a vertical layout, you’ll see so many options, but the dining time is limited to two hours.

Berry Berry Cobom Strawberry Workshop is divided into lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner periods. Lunch is the cheapest, while dinner is the most expensive. But you get what you pay for — the offerings differ by time slot. Here, it’s a self-service buffet style. After being seated, you can also order items from the menu. All the savory dishes are available, and you can order them one plate at a time in small portions, allowing you to try a variety of flavors with diverse choices.

The menu mostly offers many savory dishes — from pasta, risotto, to international cuisines. Just looking at the list is mouthwatering. Currently, the all-you-can-eat dinner is priced at NT$369 + 10% service charge, featuring unlimited access to main dishes, cakes, desserts, and salad bar. It’s a fantastic deal for an all-you-can-eat meal.

The main dishes are prepared with refined culinary techniques, so don’t hold back. At an all-you-can-eat restaurant like this, you should definitely try a bit of everything.

Let’s start with the main dishes that Pingzi and her besties ordered — first up isFresh Squid Ink Pasta with Creamy Flowers.

French Pan-Seared Wild Duck Breast with Black Cherry Red Wine Sauce— though there are only three slices, it’s a refined dish. If you want more, just keep ordering.

Spiced Roast Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce— even though the portions are small, they’re all exquisitely made and super tasty.

Shrimp and Tuna Spiral Pasta

While waiting for your main dishes or after eating, you can grab other treats from around the venue.

The adjacent salad bar has a dazzling array of salads, all free to take. There are a total of 12 types of salads and fruits, plus macaroni.

Even the basic salads like Caesar and Thousand Island dressings are available. To cater to modern health trends, they also offer Italian aged balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and other sauce options.

Perfect for summer — so refreshing.

There are also specialty items like mashed potatoes, hot dried tofu, and fresh vegetable dishes.

Buttery garlic mini toasts

There are also freshly fried items that come straight out of the kitchen.Classic American fries. Savory snacks are served every 15–20 minutes, and staff will ring a bell to let you know.

Beverage section

From lattes, milk teas, and fruit teas to a variety of other tea drinks, with tea bags also available.

Dessert section

Over ten kinds of cakes, macarons, puddings, cheeses, European-style heavy cream cheese, tiramisu, chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, black forest, Boston cream, and more — all the desserts are dainty and delicate.

You can only take two pieces of cake at a time to avoid waste, so you’ll need to be diligent in getting your food. Keep moving around and you can eat a lot.

Strawberry macaron

Outside, a single macaron would easily cost over 100 NT$, but here you can eat as much as you want.

Just seeing these prices — a buffet with such an abundance of sweets and treats — in this tough economic climate, the pricing is really very affordable. Nowadays, many buffets cost over a thousand NT$ per meal, but here, an average dinner for one person is just over 400 NT$. How could we not highly recommend it? Come and experience it for yourself.
